Anybody else a fan of the strap swap?
It’s become my Saturday morning ritual to sit and tinker with swapping bracelets on my watches and finding combos I love. Amazing how they become a whole new watch to me. Anyone else?

I want to be that guy, but I’ve tried and just can’t get there ...
Even with my Panerai (which are strap beasts) I still prefer the way they come from the factory. Need any straps? |

My wife mentioned to me the other day as I was changing the strap on my IWC that I should just go ahead and sell it now I guess she has noticed as soon as she see's straps showing up I'm looking for a 'change' but the strap never fills the need |

I like the idea, and I like the look of the Erica’s strap on my GS Ti diver. I don’t have my spring pin tool skills yet, and I don’t want to cause scratches. But just wait... 51A137EF-423A-4036-93FA-78437EE827B9.jpeg

Me too. Believe me I’ve tried to love other straps but I always gravitate back to OEM

Yes, but easier to get the bracelet off then back on again.

This is so true. First time I swapped straps my anxiety levels went through the roof trying to get the bracelet back on.
Stopped doing it with my Explorer now but when I get the BB58 it will be strap changes all the time |

I love changing the straps until I get the combo that really suits the watch. I wear 99% of the time my Rolex watches on their original bracelets while my other watches (Tudor included) are seldom on their bracelets or original straps. Love wearing NATO's as they are very comfortable during the summer. Currently I am experimenting with my latest acquisition - Tudor 76200, California dial which I have it now on Bond NATO. That thing is a strap monster. The other day I ordered 3 additional NATO straps with this watch in mind.

Changing straps is a lot of fun. Tools, not so much. I really can't understand why all straps aren't yet fitted with quick release spring bars.

I am and do it all the time. From leather to rubber to switch from 5 digit bracelets to glidelock bracelets.

My watches all go on straps. Every bracelet comes off, gets wrapped in plastic, and thrown in a box. I think I'm warming up to try bracelets again but that always fails.
I can never seem to get a bracelet to fit me just right. |

Yes. I wish Rolex bracelets were a little easier to get off. Once or twice a year or so I take mine to my local watchmaker to have it popped on or off. And then I wear different straps for a while. It's a credit to the quality that the tolerances are so good that they're that hard to get on and off. I wish they'd drill the lugs to make it easier--would be appropriate for the tool watch aesthetic of the steel models.

I only switch straps on my Speedy and enjoy doing so. Loving the pictures here.
My dream would be an interchangeable full gold jubilee, President, and leather bracelet on either the DD, DJ or SkyDweller. One can only dream lol. |

I swap the strap on my Seikos all the time. The moonwatch too. My favorites are Nato straps. For some reason I haven't ever swapped the bracelet off a Rolex. I want to get a good red one and copy Kevin O'Leary but haven't come around to doing it yet to my daytona. :D

Love swapping out my panerai strap! Quick and easy and makes it look like a new watch everyday.
