How am I feeling about that Hulk replacement?

Pretty damn good.

Long live the OG Hulk.

I must say, in photos I was not much of a fan of the Hulk, but I recently tried on another fellow members Hulk and it was so much better in person.

+1. Seeing it in the flesh is how I landed mine. It's all about the green sunburst baby (and fat juicy lugs!).

+2 on the hulk sunburst and manly lugs, plus in certain lighting, the hulk dial already looks black, but in the sun....that beautiful sunburst pops.

I always say to my AD that it's a shame that they cant take some of the sunburst dial watches outside to show the customers what they really look like in the right light

Same. I was very fortunate and saw my SA wearing it. Asked for one and got the call 8 weeks later!

Hated the Hulk in pictures until I saw one in the flesh at the AD in 2017 for the first time.

I was there to buy a DJII in blue (or so I thought). Seeing the Hulk stopped me dead in my tracks and I ended up scooping this one pre-owned with B&P for $7,600 a few weeks later.

Ah...good times then.

Question, would you still pick up the hulk at $18,000 or is this watch really a $7,600 watch?

No way.

Part of that is I don't pay over MSRP - and part of it is that this watch was selling that low just a couple of years ago.

This is a watch that, although is hard to come by these days, is still ultimately mass-produced.

This might be hard to hear for newcomers to Rolex or people trying to get their hands on the watch that don't currently own it, but it's how I personally feel about it.

Supply and demand dictates price and unfortunately MSRP means nothing these days, but that's what happens when supply is restricted on a product that everyone wants, especially in today's social media crazed world.

Now, would I pay 12k if that's what MSRP was raised to? Yes.

Out of production, the last in the historic 40mm format, the one and only with a sunburst dial.

The critics ? People who have never had me because I am sublime in real !

Beautiful day

Usually I would not pay any premium for a Rolex watch but the LVc and PepC are so unique that I would pay a small premium for them maybe up to 20%.

These are awesome shots. I am biased but agree but how good the Pepsi and Hulk are.

I'd rather see Rolex make watches more available, but raise prices to what the market would allow.

Either way, I think that both watches are worth the premium .

I had the same position until I was presented one in the metal at the AD.

Bought on the spot.

Hulk never been my thing. Just never seems to look as good in person as it does in photos. Looking forward to the new Kermit. The blue/black Sub is gonna be the shiznit.

The hulk can be a kermit in low light but a kermit cannot be a hulk in direct light.

The Hulk is such an incredible piece that I would never part with it. The green dial is magical.

It's quite insane what's going on with The hulk right now in the secondary market.

My grail watch. Owning one has not diminished my love for it or my gratitude for being lucky enough to have the means to own it.

They can kill it tomorrow or make millions more. I've got mine. I don't care either way.

The Hulk is a very special piece not just in Rolex line up but across all watches however it is not a one man watch.

If you like something fresh, daring, and unique with rich history and perfect design then nothing can beat a Hulk.

Loving the Hulk fan fest guys!

There are plenty of people that hate this watch and would love to see it go. I tend to like watches that not everyone can have / easily obtain at the AD, so anytime a watch that I own is discontinued, I'm all for it.

Obviously all conjecture until Rolex comes out with official word, but I don't see the Hulk continuing on if the recent replacement rings true.
