Value of a Submariner 114060 after tomorrow: up or down?

Wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the value of a 114060 sub "No Date" if the rumoured 41mm ND Sub with blue bezel is indeed revealed to be fact tomorrow?
Do they go down or stay flat? I can't imagine they will go up!

Thoughts?

It appears they are going up in price on chrono24. Way more than I would pay.

Going up just before is not unusual. Lots of hysteria. May only work on a few blokes but that's just enough to cash in baby

Well in the case of the 14060, it tanked in value immediately after the 6 digits were released, then slowly over the past decade has appreciated to current MSRPs.

So... again... I don't think it's a gimmick. History says otherwise.

Exactly this. +1 .

So the hype train was massive in 2010, like it is now?

Since I sold mine already, prices will go up.

It's a proven fact based on historical, uh, history. Hulk, Daytona, even the TT sub and of course, my BLNR which I was able to sell weeks before it was discontinued for the girlie version.

LOL, j/k for the folks that own the girlie version and are insulted.

Are you referring to the RARE “wide boy” Submariner?

Down Down Down

Most Grey Dealers have some used 114060 Subs in stock and will not be buying anymore for awhile

I listed my 2020 114060 locally for a respectful (IMO) $12500 Canadian Dollars (roughly $9500 USD), just last night. And my inbox has blown up; I've seen others trying to get more, but I can't imagine they'll be worth more than $9500 USD in just a few mere weeks?

They're going up. How could they not? A watch which has been exponentially growing in value is suddenly going to be worth less when its updated variant is even more impossible to acquire?

Oh wow, please share your inside source hahaha. Furthermore, you contradicted your own question/statement. "Why does the value change?" you say, but before that you say "It's going down." which is it, man?

Doubt that, I've seen two locally just sell for over 12k USD. Perhaps just because of the hype, who knows? Who Cares? Point is, you're clearly in denial haha, and I'm the dummy. Right! GO back to your crystal ball, pal.
