Bitter taste

Hi guys

Few weeks ago I purchased a brand new Air King which I wore and loved every single day. There was an issue with power reserve (only lasted few hours before stopping) barely each 24 hours power reserve. I went to my AD they checked and said it needs to be serviced , I’m very disappointed to have a brand new Rolex that needs to be repaired already.

Do you think I should push to replace it for a brand new watch? Is it even possible?

sorry to hear that, you should try. Or see if they can do anything for you for your "inconvenience"

That's very disappointing Guy, i said on your previous thread i haven't checked the reserve on my new Bluesy as it also didn't seem very long i will do now, yes try for a replacement don't know how receptive the AD will be but give it a go as you may lose the love for that actual watch now, good luck let us know how you get on.

Yeah I think those things always worth checking for peace of mind. Totally right about me losing the love for my watch I really didn’t see it coming.

The AD said that this model is becoming rare and they don’t know when they will get a new one. Seems like the only option he is giving me at the moment is send it to service.

It took me ages to actually find that watch and with the games Rolex are playing with stock , I can’t even replace it to a new one. It’s a shame I really liked the brand and wanted to build a new collection but I’m not sure now.

I thought service would be their response, annoying as it is hopefully they will rectify and you can move on.

I can empathize on getting something new and not having it work. When I got my YM the clasp failed and the turn around time was pretty fast - I think it's because it was new and recently purchased. I would try for a replacement but it should be fixed no matter what the course of action is.

I think it’s good to wind them up a lot at first. Not that it would help in this case.

Ugh, happened to me on a hard-to-get timepiece and opted for service. You'll have her back soon.
