Hi
Can anyone help please? I have just bought a 16613 rolex from a friend of mine, he has had the watch from new since 2000, the watch i believe is genuine and has come with the box literature and so on but, and im not sure if it is a massive BUT, it hasnt got a certificate of authenticity with it, am i being paranoid? how can i prove the watch, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Yes Jonathon,
You are being paranoid.. No Certificate of Authenticity can "authenticate" a watch. An authentic Rolex does not come with such a document unless it is provided separately by the dealer. If the watch is 10 years old, it is in need of a Service, so plan to send it in and for about a550 bucks you will get a practically like new Rolex back with "authentic" Rolex service papers in your name and a new 1 year warranty..

Just take the watch to an AD and have them authenticate it. The usual charge is $50 if not free.
