I know what you mean. I bought a black face SS Daytona, had it for 2 weeks and sold it. Am considering a 233 PAM at the moment. Also considering the Deepsea.

Daytona. But nobody says you can't buy a Panerai as well ... They go pretty well together in a collection. I know the feeling you are having. But believe me the Daytona is an awesome watch and my Panerai hasn't seen much daylight lately.

Loved the 233 till I saw it in person and tried it on. If it was 42mm it would be perfect, but at 44mm it was just awkward.
So...Daytona!

Deep Sea - the Daytona image is starting to tarnish somewhat. So many people are buying Daytonas for the wrong reasons these days....

DAYTONA! allll the way......i dont believe that the image is starting to tarnish...and purely buying it for the "hype" IMO is buying it for the wrong reasons......for me it was a close call between the daytona and cartier roadster chronograph...but i got the daytona this time...because it was more easily attainable and the premium had crashed.....the roadster i will get later......its been 4 months since i got the daytona and i still think its the sex bomb!

Have you thought about a 16520 or even a "Vintage" model ? These are great Axel |

Sell it, get rid of it (since you don't like it). Problem solved

Second thoughts about Daytona? No way!
I never had a chance to wear one, but we had one for sale not so long ago. Just holding it in my hands and looking at it was giving me goose bumps :). Especially the SS one with a black dial!!! Don't even think about it twice!!! :) |

...had a ss before, wore it for a week...but found it too blingy for my taste and with my 7.5in wrist it kinda looked small... i settled for a gmtII ceramic though.

Daytona for me too. The 116250 has the first Rolex in-house chronograph movement and this is a superb movement.

I already know that I will offend half the world here but,..... I just cant stand any PAN have seen. There just not for me, too art deco and fenickety.
So my choice would be the Daytona with out a doubt, (but i dont like thoes either!) my choice would be to go for a nice GMT!

I own both, they are unique in there own ways. Daytona and PAM233 are very desirable watches. Your post on Paneristi or here in Panerai forum would have different views.
