I’ve got both and yes I would definitely do it. The skydweller is a very special watch and the blue is hard to get hold of. Don’t get me wrong, the hulk is a great watch, but there’s no comparison. The only reason is wouldn’t do it would be if it was too big for someone.

Do it if the deal is right. Sky-Dweller is a superior piece compared to a sub.

I would much rather a SkyD than a Hulk.

Owned several Hulks and they never lasted in my collection.

Didn’t like the hulk at $7500, and certainly don’t like it now. The Hulk is entry level steel Rolex and the Sky is the best complication Rolex offers, two different leagues.

Get the Sky

Didn't buy the hulk 5 years ago, not when they told me it would be discountinued and won't buy it now if it was offered in its retail price. Never liked it and I enjoy my black date sub more than any thing. I Personaly would do that switch in a heartbeat. It is a beautiful piece, annual calender complication and that dial , gorgeous. You will not regret it.

Yeah but the Sky is ugly compared to the Hulk well actually compared to any other Rolex IMO. I guess too each his own. I personally wouldn't trade ANY Sub for a Sky.

Two completely different looks, you will have to do what you like best.

Your life, your watch, your choice.

Sky Dweller is a fantastic watch. The grey asking price for the SS Blue is ridiculous. So is the going rate for the Hulk.

Why not aim to wait longer and keep both?

I have to admit that the 116610LV is now so elephant chokingly overpriced that I'm almost tempted to add money and turn it into a PM watch. But I think I probably love it too much, even though the hype around it is a bit sickening. It's not the Hulk's fault.

I wouldn't swap one overrated, over priced (grey) SS watch for another, unless I'd fallen out of love with it. But I'm not you. At the price level you are fishing at, you can afford to please yourself. And you should.

I wouldn't do it unless you're dying to have the Sky-Dweller in your collection for variety's sake.

The Skydweller is a special and amazing piece. Having had both, get the Skydweller, it’s in another level that a sub isn’t in. Good luck.

Do it. Even if the SkyD doesn’t fit, even then.

Skydweller would be my preference. Not a fan of the “Green” dial/bezel.

I would add the Sky Dweller and keep the hulk. Never let go of a discontinued reference.
