Any regrets selling the hulk?

Am contemplating offloading mine. Predicting future regret is always my blind spot. Then I wind up with expensive rebuys. If you've got any experiences selling the hulk to scare me straight, please post them here. Or if you've moved it and never looked back I suppose I'm open to hearing about that too :)

The Hulk PE ratio probably peaked a few months ago. But it is one of my favorites I never got. I’ll most likely just get a green dial Day Date now instead. Not worth (IMO) paying $16-20k for a SS sub.

I would keep the Hulk in my collection, but if you don't like it anymore, just trade for the one that sings to you.

I have no regret about selling mine because I haven't sold it. I don't see any reason why I ever would.

If you are seriously thinking about selling it, then you probably don't want it. There will be a queue of people who do want it. You might as well have the money if the watch isn't singing to you.

This 1000 times. Mine is not going anywhere, then again I LOVE green!

I've never owned a Hulk but plenty Subs. I just noticed earlier today there are 746 Hulks for sale on Chrono 24 so now might be the time to sell if you choose while prices are still holding pretty strong. Not saying they'll go down but who really knows, keep yours if your already having thoughts of possibly buying one again.

Keep it unless there's something important you need to buy right now. A hulk is a lot more beautiful than a number on a screen.

Any regrets selling the hulk?

Depends. If you want a certain size collection and it doesn’t make the cut.... then sell it. I bought one since green is my favorite. However, never really wore it much and traded up for a PM. I moved into PM and now its hard to go back (except panda daytona). Hulks are not as rare as people make them out to be. If you care about investment pieces.... well I think it will go up, but in small increments now.

I still have mine after two years, and it’s my favourite in the collection. While the resale price seems tempting, I know I’ll kick myself later if I let it go. Especially considering that it’s discontinued.

I sold mine. Bought the wife a nice emerald ring, and myself a killer AR15. Still have more $ than I paid for the hulk left. I like my 114060 so I'm good.

Keep it. Have some friends that sold theirs and all have sellers remorse; heavy regret.
I have the original 16610LV also but my 116610LV is not going anywhere.

I sold mine in 2018 to a good TRF buddy. Last year AD called me and I bought another one... crazy. I have seen threads where people have owned it 3-6 times.

I never bonded with mine after a year or so- sold it a few months ago to fund a DD40, and haven’t missed it a bit.

I made the mistake of selling my Hulk once, missed it like crazy, and purchased another one. Now it is not leaving my collection, lesson learned. I think it is the nicest sub ever.

Lol at the "I've owned it multiple times" comments. You've clearly regretted getting rid of it multiple times.

If you made money off of it, then it's definitely worth "buying and sellng" a couple times more. No regrets!
