New SMP 300 MC Coming in 2021
It seems that someone has leaked images from the unreleased 2020 catalogue of the upcoming SMP 300 model.
Bracelet appears to be tapered. End links appear to be female. The dial is really clean with only two lines, really bring back the vintage vibe. I don't like the Spectre seconds hand, seems a bit of a reach. The domed sapphire looks gorgeous. Appears to be thinner than its predecessor. Available in black, blue with bracelet and strap options. I love it! But, they went back to aluminum bezel inserts? Doesn’t the current model have ceramic with liquid metal numerals?

I like the watch and look forward to seeing it in person. I will add this to the list for 2021.

Looks nice. Like the straight lugs. I simply cannot and will not do faux patina (if that is the case here).

Lots of big things from Omega in 2021 it looks like. New Speedmaster, new Seamaster 300, and supposedly new Planet Ocean coming on top of a large portion of Snoopy 50’s being delivered in 2021.

I really hope they do update the PO because the current gen PO proportions are just too out of whack. |

I would also like to see a PO with smaller dimensions...a 41 mm or 42 mm version would be ideal!

I really liked the look of the 8500 42mm dial but when I tried it on, the watch was just way to thick. I tried on the 8800 and 8900 3rd gen PO and both were just awkward looking on my wrist. |

Aluminum bezel insert is quite a downgrade. I guess they wanted to go all in on the vintage theme.

I don’t think it’s a downgrade at all. Completely different look. More tool grade and a lot more like they were meant to look. Ceramic bezels are just too fussy and pretty IMO. Looking forward to seeing the blue in the metal

If Omega had to go aluminium to get a thinner profile then, hell, that’s an upgrade in my eyes. Newer is not always better. |

Let me get this straight. Is this a new interpretation of a recent watch? Seems old from start to me but at least the aluminum bezel is a very welcome feature IMO and I hope Rolex brings them back one day as well.

This is a revamp of the Seamaster 300m Master Co-axial and not be confused with the Seamaster 300m Professional Diver that came out in 2018.

I really like the look of this the polished centre links always put me off, I also like the retro leather strap. Looks a nice refinement of an already great watch.

I think everything except for the Open (sandwich) numbers. I would rather Omega "filled" them with lume.
Having said that, I want one. :D

Got it, I see the differences now. At first glance I could only think Spectre. Looks pretty nice though, I have three modern seamasters so wouldn’t mind adding a retro piece.

I own the previous version and absolutely love it. This iteration looks neat and I like the lollipop hand, but I am very surprised they’re going back to an aluminum bezel. I agree with the other posters, seems like a downgrade. Wish it was a 39mm too. Definitely will check it out at an AD when released.
Edit: is the 8912 a completely new movement? The previous has the 8400. |

The current version of this watch is great...except for the fauxtina. Retaining it and moving backwards from a ceramic to an aluminum bezel make this a no go for me, which is a shame because I'm wanting to add a blue diver to my collection. I think I'll probably end up with a Tudor Black Bay 58.

I was unable to get a Spectre new when it came out. Bought one used a couple years later. But this new watch looks like a winner. Love the lollipop, and fauxtina, and this style of bracelet and what appears to be not an overly thick watch (thickness def something omega needs to get better at). If this watch actually comes out it will probably get one, first omega I have liked in a while.

Love it!! Blue would be the one for me. I like that the profile is slimmer too.
Personally I don’t get the ceramic vs aluminium arguments. Makes no odds to me. I actually like both but it wouldn’t be a deciding factor. Pretty much every watch I own has an aluminium bezel and I’ve never had a problem. |

What i don’t get with most brands that they always use details in new models wich were first specific for an limited edition or such.
Like now they use the lollipop hand from the spectre wich was one of the details that set it apart from the normal line up. Apart of that this could be a very nice one in real ! |
