Completely New Rolex Model, When?

Rolex is known for continually tweaking their existing models, but when will they come out with a completely new model (if ever!)? What's your guess? What would you like to see?

Personally, I'd like to see something honoring a real world achievement, like they did with the explorer in the fifties, but what? Mayber rolex doesn't do that anymore. So, how about Tudor?!

The new Rolex Visitor, anyone visiting an AD will find one waiting in the window. His main difference is availability.

C'mon the Sky Dweller hasn't been around that long. I would like to see a complication like a world timer for their next surprise.

I have to agree with this. Wasn’t the YM2 released only 10 years ago?

Yeah I’d love to see a 40-41mm white gold world time on a jubilee bracelet

Rumor has it that Rolex will also be releasing the Bundle-Master: only available bundled with a two-tone 28 mm Lady-Datejust.

And why would they have an incentive to do that? They are doing better than anyone else with the current models. Has been working out just fine for them.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I don’t think it’s happening

Maybe because they are "Rolex", and would like to maintain some element of their old reputation?

Not sure what you mean by old reputation.
My guess is in 20 years from now if they just upgrade movements, add new dial/bezel colors and minor tweaks to the cases, their status will be the same as is today.

They do and have been just not frequently. For example the Yachtmaster series started around '99, the Milgauss was brought back decades later a few years later. The Deep Sea Seadweller brand new '08, the most recent the Skydweller. They are not Breitling that introduces new pieces every year.

Well, the only truly new ones there are the Yachtmaster and the Skydweller - two models in twenty years.

I’m not sure why you would not consider the DSSD a different model than the previous Subs and Seadwellers. Completely new size and design that increased its capabilities multifold. Its spiritual connection was to the 60’s Deep Sea special that never became a production model.
