Hey all,
I recently got put on a waitlist for this watch at 2 ADs in Orange County, California. Any of you have an idea around how long it might take to get the call? It’ll be my first rolex so i’m excited :)

MANY factors determine if/when you get the call to buy the Rolex you want.. You're in a good market at least, and you've reached out to 2 ADs for a model that isn't wildly popular by any stretch. Was there any deposit allowed to be placed? Have you purchased anything other than a Rolex from them or are they a boutique? How did your conversations go with the AD's, were they in person, etc.? I ordered mine the week after they were announced in September... my SA told me that it could be 6 months and that they really don't know. I'm approaching 5 mo. wait time for my OP 36... remaining quite calm/patient. These are new times we're in so these waters are uncharted. I'd say follow up with them once in a while.. show a genuine interest... then get pleasantly surprised.

It's completely random. I had my "order" in right after they were announced in September. Well, here we are in February and my AD who I have a great relationship has only received one 36 OP since launch and it wasn't a silver. Now, for some odd reason, all the local ADs have had the 41 in Silver, but not a single one where I'm at has had a 36. Good Luck and hopefully you get yours soon!

I’ve also been waiting for a OP 36 silver. It’s been 5 months, I usually check with them once a month. They also had a few 41 mm, but no 36.

I ordered my 36dj back in October. I was told 8-10 weeks. The watch came in 6 weeks. The AD should give you a time frame.

I was just thinking of trying for one of those. They look amazing online. Are the index numbers surrounded by yellow gold?

Currently waiting on one as well for the wife. Asked about it in December, AD indicated it would be a few months. We will see
