Icon7 My First Post! From Chicago, Just Bought My First Rolex!

Hey Everyone,
I figured I'd join this forum as well after having picked up a Seadweller "D" last weekend from a local WUS member. I am from the Chicago area and have relatively just begun my watch collection. I can't say enough good things about this watch and now understand what the "big deal" is about the Rolex brand. It is truly an awesome piece. Enjoy the pics and let me know what you think!
Regards,
Daniel Jordan

Daniel welcome and thank you very much for the photos.

I really like your last photo which is missing the second hand, but the lume dot shows that your exposure on that photo was about 6 seconds

blackmsport welcome too and to answer your question please read all the stickies at the top of the for sales forum which detail your rights and obligations in relation to posting on that forum

Hey, Daniel-

Where are you in Chicago? I was born & raised in Cicero, moved away about 18 years ago. My mom still lives in Cicero, my daughter is in Darien.

Hey Kurt,
I grew up in Elmhurst, currently reside in Elgin, and work all over the Chicagoland area. I have a shop on the south side (38th & Ashland) that is somewhat close to Cicero where I sometimes work out of.
Daniel

Is that Sears trucking terminal still at 28th & Ashland? I worked security there when I was in college. Elgin to 38th & Ashland- that's a heck of a commute!

I don't know if it is a Sears terminal anymore, but there is definitely a large trucking terminal still there. The commute is pretty bad, but the only time I find it tough is when Howard Stern is on vacation .

I'm semi-retired, my wife is retired. I am looking for PT work, sales, but can ride it out until things get better. Don't have much of a choice, do I?

I bought it from a WUS'er that was local. He kept it in immaculate condition and was truly a good guy.
