I'd be all-in on a Daytona with a date...it's what's holding me back now. It's not like I can't look at my phone to know the date (and time for that matter), but I like having it on my watch too. Old skool.

How about a Daytona with a date. It would be the first new release to push $50,000 in the gray markets.

The Daytona white dial will go farther than moon, once it discontinued

I would love the comeback of the Coke GMT, but wouldn't they issue it in WG first than trickle it down to SS a couple years after?

According to my years of Rolex ownership and professional perspectives, the prediction for 2021 is that there will be some facelifts of sports model

Another prediction is that the sport model watches will never be seen in the AD display windows

I think most expect a Milgauss update, Explorer I and II update and maybe something on Oysterflex. I would be surprised if they offer a Coke GMT.

  • 214270 - replaced by 224270, using 3230 caliber, 41 mm case dimension used in DJ models (smooth, flat bezel, actually measures 39.5 mm). Will not be changed much, if at all, barely noticeable. However, multiple threads will open with heated discussion about the matter.
  • YG Green dial Daytona (the "John Mayer") is discontinued. Grey prices will rise to 90k.
  • 116500 will move to 126500. All Daytonas now use 41mm case size. Asymmetric lugs will become symmetric, the masses will rejoice. Some new dial options, the masses will dissent. Movement will be unchanged or have marginal update. More heated discussion.
  • Addition of Coke GMT (NRRO), a glorious addition that MUST be added for everyone who already owns BLRO and BLNR. Queries or complaints will arise regarding the red ceramic bezel color and spawn the proliferation of at least a dozen threads debating its color in various lighting conditions.
  • AirKing will be discontinued.
  • Milgauss update to 3230 caliber. Some new quirky dial or color combination will surface. Same case size and same iron cage.

Most likely update on Exp2

50th Anniversay for Exp2
If you look at the recent price on 216570 and 16570, something is coming for sure

The faraday cage is outdated technology. I hope Rolex doesn't use one in an updated Milgauss.
