Just Got Back from Beverly Hills Boutique

I had never been to a Grand Seiko boutique or even ever seen a Grand Seiko with my own eyes. I have just seen them online. So today I went in and met Sales Associate Erik. He was fantastic! He had a Spring that he got from the back for me to see. He spent an hour with me educating me about their products and letting me gawk at the Spring. It was incredibly beautiful and I loved seeing how the color and texture of the dial changed. He let me observe it through a jewellers loupe. It was the first time I had ever done that. The closer you look, the better the details appeared.

I got to put my Tudor Black Bay Burgundy next to it to compare and contrast. When I told him that one of the things I wanted to do was put it on a leather band, he actually got one from his inventory and mocked it up so that I could see how it would appear.

So all in all, a wonderful day! I highly recommend the Grand Seiko Boutique in Beverly Hills. Their customer service today was fantastic!!

Did you end up purchasing the Spring?

A small, but helpful boutique. I've enjoyed my visits there as well.

I have the fall blue and love it. Ended up putting it on mugatoo strap. Gs boutique staff were also super informative and friendly at Miami design district when I visited last weekend.

My husband was in a Mayer’s in Orlando yesterday . He was told they sell about 3 Grand Seikos a week there! That’s great and I think it shows a rise in awareness and popularity for this worthy brand .

The last time I visited their BH boutique, 2 customers asking for the Spring but there wasn't one available.

Thanks for your comment. This one was spoken for but the SA kindly brought it out from the back and let me see and interact with it. He even suggested I take it outside so that I could see the magic of the dial in sunlight and shade out doors.

He did a fantastic job of encouraging my dream and teaching me about the watch.

So far I have been a one watch guy. It would take a lot to change that. This just might be the one.....
