116710 blnr weight

Hi RF family,

I recently acquired a second hand 116710 blnr. I had it checked with a grey dealer which told me the watch and clasp of the watch is real but the links felt a bit light. I have tried to do as much research as possible but not sure how I can authenticate the links of a bracelet. I figured to take this grey dealers opinion about weight and Leverage the weight of the watch to authenticate the warch. I've searched on the Web and got a bunch of random measurements. Any input would be helpful! Thanks

Howdy! How many links do you have on your bracelet? (as obviously someone would need to replicate that to give you a comparable number and even then there will presumably be some weight variation)

Additionally, have you already verified the bracelet has the clasp code stampings?

Also, was the dealer you went through one that would constitute a trusted seller?

If you want to know the total weight of the watch, it's 148g on my pretty accurate kitchen scales.

145.6 grams with 2 links removed.
Total of 152 grams with full 12 links

Does it sound right?thank you all.

The buyer is trusted but he bought it from a grey dealer source that I don't know. Long story short I had a watch shop open it up and verify it's authenticity and clasp looks legit based on what he said too. Everything from box, card, tags compare to my other watches looks good too.

Based on the thread provided above with one link removed I am hitting 148.6. Means I am on par with everyone's weight but my scale is 0.1 gr off. Thanks everyone!

See? These threads are so much more pleasant to peruse than someone complaining about how they can't buy the watch they want or grey dealers yada, yada, yada, or how much is my Daytona worth next year?

Happy for you, OP. Enjoy it!
