Rolex Daytona
Hello, I am new to this site although I have owned Rolex's for the past 35 years or so. I have a friend who showed me a stainless Rolex Daytona the other day. It is not one I have seen before as it is mechanical wind without screw down pushers. From what I have read here it appears to be a early Daytona but I know nothing about Daytona's. He asked if I could help him find out more about it as he bought it many years ago and doesn't recall any information regarding the watch. The ultimate question of course is what is it worth. It is in very good condition but it is smaller than I am used to seeing. Any thoughts, ideas or information would be greatly appreciated. Very interesting forum and one I will check out further.
Thanks, brownk80@gmail.com |

Is there any way you could post some pictures? I may be wrong, I'm not a Daytona expert but I think they have always had the pushers - even the early models.

Daytonas got screw down pushers in the early 70's to help with the waterproof capabilities..
They were all wind-up until until the Zenith movements of the 80's |
