What watch do you find easiest to read in the dark?
Just keeping it simple here, what watch do you think is the easiest to tell the time in the dark? I don't mean the brightest lume, or coolest color, or most stunning lume, or bezel lume, etc. Just telling what time it is.
For me, of all my watches, I still the Tudor GMT does the best job. The green lume glows, the uncluttered dial is easy to see, I don't have trouble telling which hand is which thanks to the big snowflake hour hand, and my old eyes never need to squint to read the time. Give me some of your picks! Sent from my Galaxy S20 using Tapatalk |

Was about to say exactly... the other way. I really dislike the GMT hand in the dark, it gets confusing. I wear my watches 24/7 in rotation and check the time a few times every night. So in my opinion, the easiest to read are the large divers: SD43 and SDDS, compared agains the Hulk or Polar. The worst is the Speedmaster, while the Seamaster is high on top, Close to the big divers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

No watch, other than fresh tritium tubes or electronic backlights, will out Lume this Omega for all night legibility.

Ball Marvelight!!! Nothing trumps tritium!!!! Anything with Luminova will fade catastrophically during the night.

It's an easy answer Mike. The Pelagos with its large and blocky snowflake handset and markers. And the bezel markings are fully lumed too.

Usually a Bell&Ross would be my choice, yet Paneri's 111x TRON is pretty much the King right now imho.

This one isn’t bad either!!! If anyone is serious about having real working lume they'll get something with tritium. Never charge it but replace the tubes when they expire.

My Omega 2254.50, I bought this new probably 15 years ago, it’s been serviced once and still retains the original dial and hands.

I’ve found the sub to be easiest to read. While the Explorer 2 glowed like hell, I also found the gmt hand a bit confusing in the dark.

Definitely the No-Date Sub for me. Blue Chromalight for me is very legible especially on the black dial in the background. Also as there is no date window its quite "easy" to see the hour / minutes even in the dark.
