I just love my GMT II C

I bought this watch back in 2007 (Z series 831XXX), new from the local AD, to celebrate a promotion at work. I wear it every day for almost every ocassion.....

I see you have your fourth hand set to 24 hour time instead of GMT so you can use the bezel to track different time zones without resetting the standard hour and minute hands every time. I think that the OVERWHELMING majority of GMT-Master II owners use the fourth hand for this function, unless owners are frequent travelers or pilots.

Any thoughts on this guys...

While I obviously can't speak for others, I keep my fourth hand set to GMT and the bezel set for Tokyo. As a Commodity Trading Advisor, I appreciate the ability to quickly read the time during each of the three major "trading days", Europe, Asia, and the US. It also makes for a great conversation piece when meeting with clients, who are often WIS themselves. Combine this functionality with the style+versatility+presence that is unique to Rolex and the GMT IIc really is the perfect watch for my needs.

Thank you. I use the Cape Cod for the PCLs every 3 months.

I wash it with warm soapy water every week.

I clean it with a soft cloth every day.

Thank you all for your kind words

Best,

I totally agree. Mine has gained 5 seconds since May 1st when I set it using time.gov. It's 0.23 seconds fast/day.

Best,

Same here. Got my Z IIC in July of 07, SN 830XXX and wear it daily (except weekends when I wear my Milgauss GV). I still love it and look at it daily and say to myself "damn I'm lucky to own this watch, its really nice".
