Incoming – First Nautilus
Several days ago I made my first post on this forum, pondering whether or not to take up an unexpected 5711/1r offer from my AD, sight unseen. I had minimal prior wrist time with any Nautilus, and didn’t want to be stuck with a piece that I wasn’t sure I’d love. Many of you assured me that the rose gold Nautilus is beautiful in person, and I’m glad that I listened to your helpful comments.
It wears beautifully on the wrist: silky and elegant, but also solid. The dial is also a chameleon, alternating between a stormy grey and a radiant bronze – the latter hue reminiscent of that on the 5905r (another phenomenal piece). I have a feeling that this one won’t stay in the safe for more than a few consecutive days. Cheers everyone! |

Gorgeous watch. I was offered one just walking into an AD in 2016. Wasn't sure about the rose gold against my skin and so passed, asking them to give me a call when they had a steel.
