New green and gold incoming!

Well, I bought the black dial version of this watch in 2020. Today I received the watch serviced and with the green dial added! They did a great job at the RSC but the wait for the green dial was over 8 months... Anyway, today is a very special day because the green 116718LN was my holy grail!

Just one question for the owners, does the green dial look really dark (almost black) indoors under certain lighting? Or they got darker over time? Mine looks almost dark inside the house (last two pics).

Congratulations. Looked at one in 2018, when it was easily available at 25% discount, but passed. Then looked at white gold GMT, but Rolex then announced Pepsi at 2018 Basel and I thought yikes may as well get steel which subsequently I got in the Oct. Got to say though the weight of the gold over the steel and general feel is so much superior. My GMT feels a bit cheap compared to my DD40 WG. I now think I should have got the WG GMT!

Thank you guys. I need some feedback from earlier model owners, if the dial looks really dark almost black in certain conditions. The following pics are an example of mine at direct sunlight and at normal daylight.

My question is if they changed the shade over the years. I am positive I have seen earlier pre-chromalight dials that looked green under almost any light condition

I have an original Z serial green dial 116718. The dial looks just like that, jade in direct sunlight, almost black in indirect light. I am surprised they allowed a dial change from black.

Wow, YG with green dial GMT is one of the best combination.

I suspect they also will not put a blue dial in a WG Daytona,
OR a blue dial in a SS Skydweller.

Will they put a Meteorite dial in a GMT or a Daytona? (Bet you get turned down on that, too)

Amazing! In addition to the service costs, how much did RSC specifically charge for the dial?

Congrats again. Stunning!

The dial, hands and datewheel were about 600 euros. Total 1200 euros with service

Great swap! I have the black dial version. Out of curiosity, would you mind sharing ho much the swap cost? You’re welcome to PM me if you don’t want to share publicly.

It’s wild bc they had to swap hands, date disk, and dial. I’ve thought about this, but great to see RSC supports this swap
