Daytona availability?
Hi!
So after my first rolex(126600) I am (almost) ready for a daytona. The full oystersteel or the half yellow gold half oystersteel Daytona (116503) oystersteel/yellow gold (black dial) Daytona (116500LN) oyestersteel (black dial) It was very easy to get my 126600 SD(only 3 weeks waiting).. and it looks like most owners got it within 2 months..I am wondering what would be the case of any of the above Daytonas? As I am quite new..:s 9AC017E4-CD73-424F-B91A-24389F07998A.jpeg |

5 years wait or more on Daytona or if you've spent $100k on other stuff
TT much easier....couple months maybe |

I can assure you the wait will most likely be years for any SS. As for TT….could be a month, could be a year depending on location.

The TT will be delivered much quicker than the SS Daytona. It’s a great watch though and well worth waiting a long time for if your AD will let you :-)

I understand it’s better but at the same time as I am just a guy who likes watches, not a collector or rich.. the long waiting can be forever as I understand :s

It can’t hurt to ask your AD about the SS. You have a decent spend history and perhaps you get lucky with a shorter wait. I’m ashamed to say how quickly I got mine at this point :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Please post back here to let us know the response. Fingers crossed for you. It’s worth waiting for and so my advice is to wait for the SS one. It’s fantastic.... maybe the AD would allow you to get the TT version soon, and wait for the SS version. You could then sell the TT version (don’t tell the AD that!) Depends on your location and AD...
Took me 6 months to get a Sub Date and 12 months for SS Daytona (black) with 0 purchase history. |

like other people said...SS will be almost impossible unless you have a long term relationship with the AD. TT will be easier since it's not as popular.

Thanks for the info:) I can live with the TT. I am far from 100k and doubt I will be spending so much on watches for the next 4-5 years.. the plan is one Daytona and one panerai.. have spent below 40k so far so I can’t be expecting miracles.. thank you very much for the details!

Depends on who you ask. Lot of people who put their name down in 2016/2017 are still waiting.
Really comes down to history, your AD, timing, and some luck My white dial Daytona took 9 months, which is the longest I’ve waited for a watch |

If you were the only person on an island along with an AD, it would still take you years :)

Don’t remember how long I waited for the black dial, but for the white dial I waited for less than 6 months, could’ve been 4?

Been offered two in two years … but neither were the dial combination I wanted. So alas, still waiting.

TT looks gorgeous and a lot easier too.
If I don't have SS and YG Daytona, I would go for TT.
