On their IG there is a very short video that shows a pump pusher that looks very much like a chronograph pusher.

The chronograph pusher and "Born to measure" statement, would indicate a speedmaster. However the use of numerals would seem a little unusual

A (speedy) "Thursday" release could also be a hint

Exciting

Wish one could edit a little longer, when you make a mistake like that

My Omega boutique called me up this evening to let me know that a new Speedy will be announced tomorrow. They didn’t have any other details for me.

Rumour on WUS has its a rattrapante. Perhaps under the Speedmaster umbrella. $$ I would think.

I got a call, too.

Watched the video. It's a Speedmaster. "The "18..19..20" scale is a telemeter scale. Looks like it says "Gradue Pour" on the dial so probably a pulsometer scale. (I LOVE a pulsometer scale.) Definitely says "Base" so a tachymeter scale. That would make it "born to measure"; If it is a rattrapante, even more so!

I think the white dial with black and red accents. After further studying the photographs. I am always drawn to blue but blue does not get the wear in my collection that the white and black would. I will see how the SS version goes but if I like it, I will also pick up the gold version. Something to look forward to.
