Buy an oyster bracelet for 126710BLNR?

I think I remember reading that Rolex would be offering the oyster bracelet as something available to purchase for the 126710BLNR now that the watch is being made available on both jubilee and oyster. Has anyone had any success picking up an oyster bracelet for their BLNR? I have one with the jubilee and like to wear it with an oyster bracelet for a while.

Back in July I was told that maybe in a year they would be able to swap bracelets through RSC. The bracelet number for the oyster is 79200.

I haven't seen any pop up for sale online yet.

Yes it can be done. I’m going through the process. It can be done through your AD with parts account or directly through Rolex headquarters.

I just called Rolex directly about this....At the 212-758-7700 number.

They told me that purchasing the oyster or even swapping is not possible for existing watches. I will have to purchase and new watch with the correct bracelet.

Realistically you don’t even have to go through your A.D. you can send your watch directly to Rolex headquarters Service department
And they will do it for you you can completely skip the AD but who wants to ship out the watch right?
That’s why I went with option two and just took it straight to the A.D. and had them order it from their spare parts account.

Hi
I have a 126710BLNR on Jubilee and trying to get an Oyster. Purchased in May 2021 from DavidSW. Date on card is April 2021.

Thanks for offering to see if you can help.

I've asked my AD in Vegas and another in Honolulu, and both as of yet have not received word on when we could purchase the bracelets. I hope it isn't a swap at the RSC, because the jubilee costs more and I'd rather just have both, anyway.

Don’t take the ADs word for it I had to make the call to Rolex personally because I got tired of hearing second hand lies so I called and found out the truth from the source.
They are filling orders for 2021 release owners that is the confirmed truth.

I just gave you global headquarters # so you can call and hear them confirm or deny what your AD is telling you. Don’t trust what you’re hearing secondhand hear it from the source. What’s the worst that can happen you may be pleasantly surprised.

My AD doesn’t fuck around? Never has, so what ever reason he has to say december i believe. Maybe I could get it before if i push thru rolex but no reason

Edit: Now i think about it he said the same thing that they had to fulfill 2021 orders first.

Do you keep yours or just you pay 3k for the privilege of swapping the bracelets ?

Yes if you have a 2021 release you can get ahold of Rolex headquarters and either send them your watch and get it sent back to you along with the original with the new bracelet sized and installed. Or they will give you direction on how to proceed with your AD. Took me 4 weeks from start to finish after getting ahold of Rolex.

Considering doing the same thing myself, but in reverse! I initially wanted the jubilee but was fortunate enough to be offered the BLNR on oyster about a month and a half ago and have since fallen in love with the oyster bracelet (PCLs and all!). Currently unsure whether it’s worth the $2k or so to get an additional bracelet given the difficulty in swapping them. Maybe I’ll be more motivated when the honeymoon phase is over.

I had the same dilemma but having the right tool really makes it worth it. $2100 is not chump change for sure but investing $140 or maybe even a little less on the bay for a Bergeon 7825 spring bar tweezer
Will make it all worth while. It’s the next best thing to the Rolex Ref. 3200 which is damn near impossible to get.

i am also hoping to do that.
I have a 2019 126710 BLNR on Jubilee and i would much rather the Oyster.
I was told a year, but that was back in April when i called Rolex NYC. so its either a waiting game, or finding someone whos willing to trade/swap

Rolex is filling orders for all 2021 release owners first from what I gathered talking with headquarters

As stated, i think its a waiting game, or finding someone to swap. I doubt i would be able to order one from Rolex HQ until April or May of 2022.

Thanks for all the info! Mine is a 2020 model, so looks like I’ll need to wait a bit anyway.

To clarify, for those of you currently engaged with Rolex/AD in this process, is this a bracelet swap, or do you actually get to have both bracelets? I only want to do this if I get to have both.

You can buy it without swap. Mine is a 2021 BLNR Oyster and I asked for a jubilee.

April ___ 2021 ? What day in April if it’s before the 7th of April you’ll be given the standard “It’s not an option at this time” crap.

Literally April 8th..

But she said none of the currently existing GMT II's are eligible. I have to buy a new watch.

Maybe it's their way of just getting rid of all the inquiries. YMMV when it comes to the rep you get.

Pondering calling another Service Center.
