Thinking about this 5513, any opinions?
I'm thinking about trading my 126610ln for this 1978 5513 with Watchfinder, some money my way.
No papers, supposed to be original dial, insert, bracelet. I have little vintage knowledge, any opinions much appreciated! https://photos.app.goo.gl/rSLRg987A83cCUEq6 https://photos.app.goo.gl/A8E3aeUaHCnYP7nS8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/RSevrAC4uGfjqKJMA https://photos.app.goo.gl/9qAtkGeyPo3FXp5z8 |

Well those photos are totally inadequate, but the case is not great (trying to judge from the lug holes) and the insert is not original IMO. The color of the lume is not terribly appealing to me personally. Overall, I don't love it at first glance.

Big pass. As Dan says, the case is over-polished. The lug holes are bowed out and almost touching the edge of the lugs themselves. There are much better examples out there.

Those are quite the photos. Interesting indeed.

I've bought several watches from Watchfinder over the years but never vintage as they are not vintage specialists. Often their vintage pieces have a host of non original parts that are not easy to see from their standard four photographs or the very brief description. The case on this watch is as described above. Personally I'd look at some of the recognised vintage dealers in the UK, as most if not all will be happy to take your sub, although a good condition 5513 could cost more than the 126610. I'd hang back and do some research on 5513's before taking the plunge. Good luck in whatever you decide.

Definitely do not buy this watch. I'm not even sure the dial is original, but would need better photos to say for sure.

I think you'd be better off just selling your new Sub outright and buying a vintage 5513 or trading it to someone who does both, but is a vintage specialist, like https://tropicalwatch.com/

No need to check on the insert. It’s incorrect.

Keep your sub, and only add something vintage. You'll be happier in the end.
