I would stay away if I were you. Either that, or ask if you can take the watch to have it inspected by an expert first, before you shell out any cash.

Yes, but that doesn't mean that it's not an authentic Sub, Hiram. It DOES mean that the person who owns it now has absolutely no taste whatsoever!

Chances are good that it is. Can you get the person who is selling it to let you take it in for an evaluation by an AD or a watchmaker that is Rolex-trained? If you cannot verify the authenticity of the watch, I would stay away.

At the very least, the bezel is fake. That alone is enough to raise red flags.

Pepsi bezels were only made for GMT's with the 24 hour markings. Subs only have come in all black or green for the LV.

But that doesn't mean that the owner didn't install a GMT bezel on his Sub. That is easily done.

And don't forget to mention that Subs come with "blue" bezels as well. I have one!

True but a GMT bezel would have the 24 hour markings on it rather than the timer markings of a sub bezel like the one in the pic.

Forgot about the blue bezel. Still waiting for my first TT or gold model.

Yes, right here. Ponycar350, TempoKing (Anastasios), Steve Mulholland and a few other sellers here are rock solid and deliver what they advertise.

That's true. Good point.

Best of luck getting a TT Sub - I love mine!

definite fake ,the first thing I always check on a sub is if the "m's" on the dial(300m& the m in submariner) are lined up one above the other, this one is way out.

Look Haney, I am not saying that it IS a fake. It's just that some additional investigation needs to be made before we would clear that particular watch. Remember, we are evaluating it by only the two photos you have provided. I would never provide a solid "Yes, it's a fake" on only that.

Investigate. If you can't, then pass it up.

thank u very much for help:-)
if it is a fake, it seems to be a good on then(if u can call a fake "good one")
i hoped there where things on the pics that could make u pretty sure if it was fake or real, but i understand the problems with doing that:-)

The shoulders on the case protecting the crown look wrong too. I would not buy from anyplace other than an AD.

This watch is 100% fake based on the photos and has all the attributes of the fake GMT/Sub.

The band is fake, the dial is a fake (maxi dial) the insert is fake and the crown is fake.
