My first VC

Strolling around Rodeo Drive not knowing what was about to hit me. Kudos to the sales team at the VC boutique for their great service.

The watch is on a shorter strap for my wife to wear (for now) so this is also her very first chronograph.

And what a VC it is. Congratulations! This is one of the most desirable watches on the market right now. Period. I almost picked it up at the Chicago Boutique a couple of months ago. It’s gone now, and I have been kicking myself for not picking it up. Next one to come in, my SA will drop me a line.

Swiss Watch Gang did a review of this watch recently, and now with your incoming post, I am obsessing over this watch all over again!

Enjoy this terrific watch! Nicely done.

The Platinum is absolutely stunning. I don’t think it’s available from a boutique anymore, however(?). Are you looking on the secondary market?

Yes on the secondary market.

There is real value in picking up the platinum right now with the discount.

Congratulations! I saw that model at the BH boutique a few months ago. It’s a special watch indeed. Wear in the best of health.

Absolutely beautiful. I tried one on at my AD just last week and nearly left with it... it's even more pretty in person.

Thanks for everyone’s kind words.

I started looking for for a manual chronograph for my collection about 12 months ago. The CDV, Patek 5172G and the Lange Datograph were my last three choices. Dropped the Datograph as I preferred the original 39mm case. And just ordered a Patek 5172G as I want a matching chronograph to the 5320G. Never was able to shake off the CDV and as fate dictates, I was actually visiting West Hollywood for another watch but came across the boutique. Told my wife to just go in and take a look, and both of us fell in love with the CDV again. We already saw the watch at an AD but the service of the staff there moved the needle and sealed the deal.

I plan to share this watch with my wife as the 38.5mm size is a perfect unisex watch. At one point I was going to get the Patek 7150 for her but she did not like the diamonds so this is the perfect choice.

BTW, she did not know what a chronograph is until this weekend as I gave her a crash course on why there are two extra pushers on the case.

I am sure this will not be the only VC in my collection and hopefully an Overseas may come into the collection in the future.
