The birds and the bee

It was a sunny day today so I got the camera out and went in search of nature. Here's a sample of what I found.

Another blue tit.

A flock of lapwings.

A solitary lapwing.

Moorhen.

Caterpillar

After the caterpillar, it's the butterfly.

The busy (buzzy) bee.

The lapwing photo looks almost 3D.

Excellent, Adrian. That first pic of the Blue Tit makes the bird appear to be so vulnerable!

Now, off topic.
If I recall, they made you put your camera in carry on, when you were flying.
Is that a new flight regulation?
Was curious what they would make me do with 5 or so watches, if I were to fly somewhere with them??? Not a chance I would put them in regular baggage

When I flew home it was the morning after the arrests were made. If I'd been traveling to Heathrow only, I could have carried normal hand baggage but as I was traveling on from Heathrow I was only allowed a clear plastic bag with my wallet, ticket and passport. Now you can carry a bag but to the new size(?) As for what goes in it, I'd have to check the airline web page.
