Incoming….

Feeling very fortunate and happy to have gotten this piece after a two year wait. Being honest, don’t hate, the hype and long wait had a negative impact on the overall final impression.

And now I wait two more months for links so I can get the watch to fit on my wrist! :-) I really wish Rolex ADs let you preorder links especially if they are unwilling to keep them in stock. SS links, come on ADs! :-)

You must have a pretty big wrist then...... you might find it wearing quite small

Congratulations! One of the best modern pieces in my opinion. Sorry that the wait and hype has dulled it for you a bit. After all that settles, remember you’ve got an amazing new watch!

You can easily get links from someone faster than two months. You just have to pay :)

Beautiful watch!

The hype probably set expectations very high for you. But the wait would have made the watch all the more special, IMO.

eBay or Chrono24 for links would be much faster. You’re not getting them free from the dealer right?

To OP, Being honest, don’t hate, the hype and long wait had a negative impact on the overall final impression.

What do you mean by that?

Nice watch. Enjoy!

I think if you’re in the Bay Area, I would call several AD’s and ask if they have links. A lot of watchmakers trained on Rolex keep bracelet links in a drawer. As you already know, there’s something to be said for delayed gratification, though! Congratulations- a true grail!

The long wait definitely dampens anyone’s spirit for sure. It’s tough. Even tougher to have to wait another few months to wear it.
