Icon4 Discontinue 26331st.00.1220st.03/ panda

Hi, is the audemars piguet Royal Oak chrono/ panda to discontinue? I’ve heard that they have announced this in Geneva but can still see the watch on the website and no word of it anywhere else?

Only the precious metal and titanium models of the 26331 have been officially discontinued as of now. You can see on the AP website under the Royal Oak collection, select legacy collection. I anticipate the stainless models of the 26331 will follow. Doesn’t make sense for AP to continue to offer the both 26331ST and 26240ST. Probably building up movement inventory for the 26240 before doing so.

I don't have specific information on the Panda, but the website is not a good indicator of whether a given model is still in production or not. Once it's in the legacy section the matter is settled, but models often hang around under "current collection" for months or more after production has ceased.

As an example, the various 15202s are still listed under "current collection", and those for sure are gone. I expect the 15450, 15202, 26315, 26331 etc etc to slowly migrate to the legacy section over the rest of the year.

My SA has told me that it has been discontinued. Once the remaining pieces made in '21 are gone that is it.
