How do you leave your Rolex at night

Was wondering how people leave their watches at night; whether there were any adverse effects to movements in different orientations etc. Fully prepared for some comedy / tongue in cheek replies.

Here’s how I do it, I like to charge up the lume with a UV torch and I lay it down on it’s side so if I need to check the time during the night it’s the right way ‘up’.

Thoughts?

I always leave mine crown down and usually clasp shut.

Crown down eh? Do you sleep on the other side of the bed to me or is there another reason?

I also close the clasp. Takes up less space.

Why would a watch be uncomfortable?

It doesn’t eat into my skin nearly as bad as my ankle monitor.

I put the stickers back on the case, place the hang tags around the bracelet, add the extra links back on of course, tuck it into its box and place it back into the vault but not before I give it a kiss goodnight.

Depends how it's running. Dial up if slow, crown up if fast.

Very interesting, why does the orientation change the accuracy?

That may be the best answer I’ve ever read on here. Sage advice.

+1 on above. It's the last thing off before bed and the first thing on in the morning. Also, it never complains about my singing in the shower.
