New Here! Need advice
Good morning everyone! I am brand new to the Rolex world. I just purchased my first datejust. It’s yellow gold and stainless with a white face, and a fluted bezel. I don’t know a lot about the brand. I purchased this watch secondhand from a very reputable jeweler in my area.
The face/crystal of the watch seems to be very delicate. In the week that I’ve had it I have noticed two marks- a small scratch near the 10, and a wide shaving off of the side of the glass between 4 and 6. I swear these were not there when I purchased, but they absolutely could have been. I am not rough with my jewelry. Any advice on keeping the crystal/face blemish-free? In addition, the watch is losing about 5 minutes a day. I wound it, and I’m taking it back to the jeweler on Tuesday for check. Any tips? |

Welcome to the forum. I’m unclear as to how old the watch is. If the service history is unknown, you could send it to RSC for a service
