Rolex Ouster Precision 6694 Buying Advice
Hi everyone,
I’m new here and wondering, if this watch is authentic and period correct. The seller says, it’s an 35mm reference 6694 from 1950 with a caliber 1225. The case back says 6427 and the dial is marked T Swiss T. Case No. 707Xxx. I think, this watch is beautiful but I’m not quite sure if the components (dial, case, bracelet, case, movement) fit together and to the mentioned production year. I thought that the 6694 came later and had a date, an that the no date caliber has to be the 1220. The asked price is around 3.700€ with box and 3 years of guarantee. Do you think it’s way too high for this watch? I hope, you can help me out here! Greetings from Germany. Michael |

The 1225 movement came much later than 1950 so the manufacturing date is most likely 1961 since serial numbers reset in 1955. As soon as you get enough posts you can post a picture or use a hosting site to post a picture sooner.
