Gave my seamaster diver away
Last week we passed by a rolex boutique. My dad asked in passing how much a rolex watch is now.
Today i gave him my seamaster ceramic blue. I did a little sales pitch about how big and easy to read with very soft but secure rubber strap. How light it is compared to a steel bracelet. He is a typical watch noob that only knows rolex. But i saw it in his eyes that he liked it. I think it's the acid test if a watch noob appreciates a watch not because there is a rolex name on it. Im glad to gift it to him knowing it's going to survive his lack of care to it. Sent from my SM-A920F using Tapatalk |

You’re a good man. I wish my father had lived long enough for me to afford to do something like that for him. Cherish your family- they won’t always be around.

My dad would be wearing the 16013 I bought if he were still around. |

100,000% how I feel. Life has been financially good for me after my mum and dad’s passing, and I wish I had been able to do more for them when they were around and healthy. I wasn’t in the same position. I’d give anything to turn back the clock and have one more day with them. |

Seeing it on a 70+ year old. I would not put it as classy elegant. But it looks cool vibrant handsome.
The wearer is sure to appreciate all the details more than others. It has a little bling but will not gather unwanted attention Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
