Why is it called the Sprite?

It’s not called Sprite but it’s trying to be forced to be called Sprite by some members that are going out of their way starting new post using the term. It’s called getting in early to set a precedence. It’s how they try to win the nickname race. Old forum tactic and noticed by many that have been around a few years.

So the SA at your local AD decided to use another soda nickname after reading instagram? How original. I imagine they just decided to go along with whatever you called in an effort to appease the customer. They don't care what you call it so long as you buy it and beg them for it by purchasing a bunch of DJs and less desirable brands along with.

yes nicknames are silly, but naming that watch sprite is even sillier haha. Sprite isn't green and black.

Whether you like it or not, the stupid comic book hero nicknames have stuck! I know some AD Sales reps that don't know what BLNR is but they sure as shit know what a Batman is. That being said, there are half a dozen super heroes that rock the green and black.

It's a 'Monster' rare big release being for lefties and the date position. My dad, who is a lefty and gave me his 1971 OMEGA Dynamic last year, is prob gonna cry when I give it to him. He earned it, big time!!!

Just called another random AD and asked the SA about the " riddler " GMT and he threatened violence on me for calling the Sprite that. True story !

Not a fan of nicknames but I am not calling this GMT Sprite, ever. If anything, The Riddler. I most likely will refer to it as Destro GMT.
