What is your Go To Travel Watch?

What is your Go To Travel Watch?

Lots of great choices out there and lots of amazing watches on this forum.

Mine is the BLNR. Rolex has the best GMT design. The BLNR goes with anything and is not too flashy for either vacation travel or business meetings.

Anything with a Day and Date. I find keeping track of days at a glance when travelling to be a more helpful reference than a GMT/24hr function. I can easily do the time-diff math in my head in the unlikely event I need to know the time back home.

Explorer I. Simple rugged, not flashy at all so doesn’t attract unwanted attention.

The places I go a G-Shock.
No one is gonna slice your arm off for a Casio.
Well hopefully not anyway!

When travelling in civilised countries my Sub.

Generally looks like Apple Watch in backpack + 1 mechanical on wrist.

A beater Doxa. Not going to advertise anything. I have no desire to travel making myself a target. Unlike the guy here in Cancun wearing his yellow gold diamond bezel day date. Oh and wearing all his gaudy clothes as well. He just looks like a target for some riff raff.

Garmin Instinct. Like the temp and steps. Holds a charge for two weeks. Not getting mugged for it.

Usually this with a couple of different straps to dress up or down.

Though my GMT is really more of a "travel" watch, I enjoy wearing the DSSD more on trips, especially if I'm not sure what all the activities will be.

I am the same way. My BLNR makes the most sense but I tend to take my DSSD. The brushed bracelet and micro adjustment make it very comfortable to me.

Daytona. Run the chrono to track home time on the 12 hour subdial.

Swatch Irony Day-Date. Keeps great time and I don't even think about it on my wrist. One less thing to worry about.

Submariner anywhere any time.

Simplistic, glidelock adjustment, tough, timing bezel, and a dive watch for water/diving activities.

Depends. Explorer 2 if I’m backpacking/photo stuff, BLNR or Tudor GMT for vacations, Sky-Dweller for conferences.

My Cartier pasha seatimer. My first nice watch and on my wrist for 5+ years before I walked into a watch store in Zurich for a “browse”.
