This is a turn o graph enabling thread...

I am thinking about this turnograph white dial 116264- I don't currently have my own dress watch - let the enabling begin gents...

Looks like minimal interest here. I understand that this model is just a date just, however the white dial and red second hand are nice. The other consideration is the 16570 white dial explorer. Sadly, my skinny wrist is drawing me towards this TOG.

Going shopping this afternoon, hoping to make a decision and pickup something today while wearing the weekend trusty planet ocean...

The late model TOG’s are still heavily undervalued in the collector world but it may turn someday.(No pun intended)
But there are a lot of fans of the earlier Turn O Graphs out there.
I would say the polar white 16570 is a better daily wear watch regardless of your attire though.
Good luck!

Hey thanks, I don't know much about the TOG's, other than I like them with any dial color. When I feel like I need a polar 16750 I just wear this cheap but functional quartz watch...

Hey thanks,

I tried the polar from 2000 with box and papers, but chose the turnograph instead. I'll add a polar at some point as my wife wants to wear the TOG now.

I gave away the st mortiz white dial watch to a friend's daughter in Paris. Then I found a box and papers, tags, original receipt and credit card receipt explorer II 16570 polar.

In case you are wondering, Yes I now seem to be rebuying watches I owned and sold previously, and Yes, it's s slippery slope...!

Polar and TOG

That's right. I have the TOG for more formal attire and the explorer II polar for just about all else. I still would like to replace a few watches I've sold previously- So the hunt will continue!

i think the white Turn-o-Graph is class.. very smart looking and unusual. Most people, even those with an interest in Rolex watches, will never have seen one.
mind you, the white dial Explorer II models above are real quality too. i like the previous ‘red’ model and the current ‘orange’.

Very good observations here. I enjoy owning what I perceive as nice watches. Thank you for appreciating this small collection of polar dial Rolex watches.
