"me wisha boughta two tona"

Just interested to hear your opinions on what type of people/demographic pay most attention to your particular model?

For me, my TT Blue Sub gets most attention from SS Sub owners of any age - particularly my Italian work colleagues when we meet (mostly SS Sub owners)...oh how it makes me smile inside everytime I catch them having a sneaky peek when they think I am not looking...you can read it on their faces "me wisha boughta two tona".

This is not as I am keen to show off as I only own one Rolex which I bought for me and no one else but I think it is interesting as it would give a good indication as to where each model fits into the market and where it is most desired.

interesting I have never thought of a particular model fitting into a certain group. I suppose if people have bought as a status symbol it might make sense most people never notice what I am wearing

Down here in south Texas, in all the years I have been wearing Rolex, I have only noticed twice where someone was checking out my watch.

No doubt that the TT is more flashy/attention getting. Too much so for me, I am all SS.

my wife and i were "checking out" with the finance guys at the local bmw dealership (we found a low mileage, 2007 Z4) i noticed he was wearing a TT sub, black dial. i had on my GMTII pepsi. as we were walking through service area i noticed 2 more SS subs.. one no date, and one date.

our sales person, she was wearing a ladys tag heuer aquaracer.

so i do not know if i notice TT more or not. but it definately catches the eye over just SS.

I am an SS guy. TTs are no doubt very eye-catching, regardless of brand.

I have 6 SS Rolexes and a TT blue Sub. By far, the TT Sub and SD get noticed the most.

At work, I mostly see SS Subs on the "30 somethings" wrists. I really feel that the blue face TT sub is one of Rolex's better looking watches in the top 3 for sure. I own these two and I really don't think anything says "Rolex" better than these two!

Interesting, I've seen just about as many TT bluesies in the wild as i have seen regular SS subs. Only once I saw an LV Green sub, once a SD4000 and twice black SS daytona

If it's attention you are seeking for your watch, I refer you to the "Ugliest GMT" thread. If this watch doesn't get you noticed, there must be a visual impairment operating.

My SS GMTIIC never got noticed.

My TT GMTIIC gets noticed all the time.

I think it's the gold, of course, but--and I know it's not true measurement wise--the TT in this model and IMHO most models APPEARS much bigger than the SS counterpart.

Many of my friends have agreed. A few have told me I'm an idiot.

I have the TT Sub with the blue face and it gets noticed fairly regularly. I think it gets noticed because of the gold and the blue face.
