AD hooked up a Sub Date and Pepsi. What should I ask for next?

Hello! I'm new to the forum but have been collecting for some time now. Over the past couple of years, I've been lucky enough to buy a sub date and Pepsi from my AD.

Where do I go from here? Do I have the "buying history" to ask for a daytona? What about a meteorite gmt or meteorite daytona? What about a John Mayer? I don't want to overstep.

What do you want next ? I am in the same boat. AD is delivering to me pretty steady and I always want to keep a watch in queue with him. I asked for a Sub LV and he said I will be getting it soon but after that I am going to have to ask for a Daytona or something crazy.

If you don’t have a watch in mind you might want to hold off. If buying for investment you could be disappointed.

Sounds like you could use some precious metal? Maybe a gold Daytona? DD?

At this point you will not overstep, just a matter of how long you'd have to wait. If I were you I would ask for a Daytona. Question would be if you only want the panda or you okay with the black also too. Ceramic bezel only if it was me.

you don't have the buying history for any of those, but you should absolutely ask. The JM isn't worth asking for, they essentially don't exist. Meteorite is going to be really tough. I would ask, hopefully they keep making them, and maybe in 5-7 years you get lucky and get a call.

The answer is based on what you want. Have you tried on the watches you think you want? Don't just buy based on hype ... ask for the watch that sings to you.
