Watch finder make it official

Hi all, sales are official.

Imho this is the last trial before the market become really sporty in September.

We just need to wait.

Yeah that $23,000 used Submariner is only $18,400, what a steal.

Lolol 214270mk2 has 2% off. Was selling at 6-6.5k back before the market spiked. Now, you can get it for 12,540. I love mine. But it is NOT a 12k watch IMO. Sale is a joke.

If this is the first time they have done this since 2018ish (not sure if that is true), they are still charging too much and showing us that they are concerned.

Sale on Rolex is not really a good marketing strategy for brand equity.

exactly.. to me it smells like desperation of over-leveraged traders...

Prices are still at insane levels and still a long way to fall yet. But a few weeks ago people were denying prices were even falling, not many still doing that now. The general direction is good for watch enthusiastists but far too soon to buy. Just keep your powder dry for now. I have a feeling something has got to give eventually. Dealers need to buy and sell, they need turnover to be in business. Interesting to see how things develop.

Alternatively, prices will somehow shoot back up again, and keep going to the moon? I don't think so. When I look at the prices some of these watches are on sale for I just think that run of the mill rickety old second watch is nowhere near worth that, not in a million years. People collectively lost their minds. "It has been raining money on fools for too long" - to quote Elon Musk.

This is great news, soon that SS Daytona will be at a price that I have to consider before I say no.

Should just be normal pricing in the sale then eh. I see a 116610 Submariiner with rounded off crown guards in the advert pic, nice work WF.

Some time ago, I could buy a couple of nice factory stickered watches full set with ok prices. Today they are all overpriced...

They have stopped buying most references including SS daytonas, Subs, BLNRs and Blue SkyD. Called them to ask why, they told me things are not moving and they have dozens and dozens of every reference I can imagine.

I really hope no one bought at £50k, that would be awful.

Anyway the price needs to drop about £28k before I’ll consider one, needs to be under AD retail price for me.
