So I dropped my Superocean 42 on a ceramic floor yesterday. Thankfully no visible damage, but it definitely took a good hit. Today I noticed it is running about 25 seconds slow per day when it had been running about +6 seconds fast since I purchased last year.

-Any thoughts on what I may have damaged?
-Is it typically recommended to have these fixed through a Breitling Boutique, Breitling Dealer, or just a local watch repair shop?
-Is it safe to wear in the interim or should I let it wind down and not wear it until repaired.

Thanks for any advice / recommendations.

How old is the watch? A local watchmaker could probably do it but if it's a newer piece you may want Breitling to do it themselves for warranty and refurbishment.

About one year old. Bought new from a dealer. Not sure it will be covered under warranty because I dropped it.

Get Breitling to do it. And just to clarify, by warranty I mean Breitling will then warranty their work. Also since it's still under warranty, even though it wouldn't cover this, having anyone else work on it would probably totally void it.

I’d hack the movement and take it in for service. Hope you get it sorted

i dropped my SO on carpet... not as hard as ceramic obviously. keep an eye on the time and if its out of wack, is when i would take it in.

+1 on getting the watch serviced by Breitling. I agree with Bstewart. You don't want to void your existing warranty by getting it fixed by a different watchmaker. Good luck.
