New Grand Seiko LE SBGP017 (PIC Heavy)

Hey All,

Sharing some pics of my first GS -

Loving this watch and got some many freebies with it when I casually asked. (GS Coffee Book, 2 GS Straps, Pin Buckle, Cufflinks)

Managed to get a 8 in my number reserved for me, 8 is lucky in our Chinese culture.

The experience was second to none - the GS Boutique could literally not do enough for you.

Already got a few little battle scars from the weekend wear but all good, love it!

Love the "Sea Of Clouds" dial and of course the accuracy is flawless.

Pretty sure they are just stainless steel lol. That would be some gift if that was the case!

Beautiful watch ... I purchased one today. I feel very lu my as this watch is sold out but I found an AD with one.

I am curious now that you’ve had the watch for several months ... how do you like it now?

Also, not taking resale and hype into consideration ... how do you like it compared to your Tiffany OP?

Thanks,
Doug

Hey - I still very much like the watch although it's fair to say I am no longer in the honeymoon period but this is mainly because I've accumulated other watches since there so it's been worn through rotation as opposed to being worn everyday when I first got it. But its nice to pick up and wear without having to set the time and being deadly accurate.

It's hard to compare to the Tiffany OP, it's a very simple watch in comparison. Truth be told I am not wearing that watch a lot either lol.

End of the day the Rolex has the hype factor and I enjoy it a lot but the GS is deffo no slouch and I'm happy this is my only GS in the collection.

But I'm wearing the "Tiffany" Moonswatch these days and I can say that is deffo a fun watch to wear with no pretense.
