Enjoy. I wore my 16610 during my honeymoon and that was back in 2002. Watch is still on the wrist (wife still with me as well lol).

My favourite holiday watch has always been the YM pt dial. I love the way it transforms in the sunlight but never goes over the top.
Since I got the Bluesy, I haven't taken it on holiday yet, because to me - and this is very personal - it might be a bit much at the beach. I love my Bluesy, don't get me wrong, but I like to wear it for myself, like any other watch. Being a sunburst dial, I tend to avoid a direct light on the blue Sub. With the subdued YM it's the opposite, a direct light makes it come alive and look fantastic, but in a restrained kind of way. I prefer wearing the Bluesy on an overcast day with its beautifully nuanced dial, where the YM would normally look rather dull. Sunny day: beautiful YM, loud Bluesy   Overcast: dull YM, beautiful Bluesy

Great watch for a beach holiday, or anywhere for that matter! I don’t have a favourite for holidays specifically I choose one dependant on where I’m going, if it’s hot/cold etc etc. a bit of gold always work for me in the sun though :) I just came back from a theme park holiday, took the SS SD43 |
