Key Watch Question
Really this is more for fun then needing any real advice as I'm old enough to make major life changing decisions (of which this isn't one). So I'm planning a trip to the Florida Keys and I'm deciding which watch to bring with me. As it will involve a lot of time in and around the water I'm definitely wearing a watch which will have decent water resistance. My choices are 1) my newly acquired Bluesy, 2) my YM40 Rhodium dial, 3) my recently acquired Christopher Ward Acquitaine Bronze COSC, or lastly, 4) my Ball Roadmaster Archangel.
Below are photos of the watches; what do you think? |

Rhodium YM40. Bezel is more versatile than the Bluesy.

Bluesy will look at home on the Keys. It’s perfect for the lifestyle.

Is there a watch roll option to bring them all?
I voted YM because you'll probably come across other Submariners. |

I didn't vote because I recommend you take at least 2 watches! One for the pool/beach during the day and one for the evening - going out for dinner or whatever. Bluesy is good for anything so take that and a casual watch. Enjoy your vacation!

Because of flight layover brevity I'm limiting myself to carry on only luggage so space is and issue. I've definitely got multiple rolls so I'll consider it. If I do that will ease the decision making to which one do I leave at home. I think I've got that figured out as well. It's a good idea. Thanks! I'll post pictures to the thread as they are available from FL. |

I voted YM but the TT Submariner works just as well.

The TT Sub is beautiful in a showy kind of way, it's the ideal summer watch.
The YM is more subtle and refined. If at all possible I would take both. If not, then perhaps the TT Sub as this is your latest acquisition and you're deep in the honeymoon phase! I will be facing a similar choice soon, between the YM pt dial and the TT Sub while vacationing at the beach. I'll probably pick the Sub this time, for a change. The YM has always been my favourite holiday watch. |

I voted for the bronze CW Acquitaine.
Why? Well firstly, I don't personally take my more expensive pieces on holiday as it's something I just don't want to be thinking about anywhere I'm unfamiliar with. Secondly, while TT Subs are just as capable as the SS models, I just think they're almost too dressy and refined for slightly rougher use. Same goes for the YM IMO. Thirdly, bronze is a great choice for use in the sea (and you'll get some nice patina if that's your thing), and as it's both new to you and not overly expensive, that one would be choice hands down. Plus it's on a Tropic strap, which again is great for ocean use.

I thought it was going to be a landslide for the LB, but wow
And, yes, I voted for that one. If there ever was a perfect watch for the keys, it’s the Bluesy. |

Key Watch Question
I took the Smurf there on vacation over Christmas. Will probably head back down this Christmas. Might take the Smurf might take the bluesy. Who knows? but it will have to be a blue dial something.
