is it possible to get a new bracelet for the 114270 explorer?

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to order the bracelet of the new explorer and install it in the 114270 model.

I ask bc I was offered this model at a good price I guess from 2004 and no box but it does have papers.

Thanks!!!

If you are referring to the newer 124270, I believe it has different lug width so you wouldn’t be able to do a bracelet change.

I believe the 114270 has a 20mm lug width so even though you won’t be able to fit a brand new 124270 19mm bracelet there are surely plenty of very good condition bracelets that Rolex or indeed dealers could put on a slightly older Explorer. I’d imagine my old 16570 bracelet would have fit it. Someone tell me I’m completely mistaken?

You got not only a different lug width but also the end links are a male/female connection into the case. Definitely won’t work

The bracelet of the 114270 is amongst my favorite bracelets of all Rolex models. I’d keep it.

You could always buy an Easy Link and add it, if you must.

I was thinking about the efficiency of the easy link system that allows expand it or shrink the bracelet easy and without issues. U r saying I can buy that part separately and added to the bracelet?

Thanks for the help

Yep, as far as I know, they work on 5-digit bracelets. You'll probably have to pay several hundred dollars for them, but still.

I considered getting one, but the old clasps are so much more adjustable and lightweight that I found that I didn't need one.

You could certainly purchase a new bracelet from RSC that would be an exact replacement for what was originally fitted. It won’t be cheap though!
