Peeling lamination warranty cards?
Has anyone seen or read about the peeling of the lamination on the front and or back of their registration cards?
While I'm at it, the hologram under black light is looking rather weak and suspect. Any feedback appreciated!

Yes that's exactly my concern.

It was caused by me peeling the lamination back intentionally.
That's another story..but it's back to how it was.

I am lost. Why did you create this issue and then ask if others had experience or read of this happening?

It's more involved but the short version was I did peel back more of the lamination and while researching it, figured out the solution.

First off I figured I screw it up badly, as that's typical as I am figuring something out.. Knowing I was going to screw it up, I was extra careful...I put down a washcloth, then ironed a hankerchief to put over that..and since I can't remember the last time I ironed anything, I ironed a second hankerchief to cover the card (and for practice lol). I probably gave it 12-15 seconds and when i checked to see the result, the card looked like it would liquify with a bit more time! I very carefully picked it up and it was very umm 'flexible'. I let it cool off and the ends were slightly curled upwards on the edges. I figured I had another chance to ruin it, so I repeated the process but this time less than 10 seconds and it was fine or as fine as these cards get.. Hope anyone or your friend is careful doing this!

Mine is beyond fixing since its like that for many years, and not necessary
Someone can google "peeling warranty card" and read this topic in future, we wouldnt want anyone to press hot iron directly on their warranty card. Even idiots wouldnt deserve their cards to melt :) |

Why do I feel like I’m missing an inside joke here?
What’s the story with this card, is it a fake? |

I have a friend who sent me pictures of two of his cards that also show the hologram not nearly as bright as it is on one I got from an AD. I actually am not 100% sure either way on the card.

I have a 2016 card that completely peeled off despite never being taken out of the little wallet holder for 5 years.

I picked up a couple of pre owned watches and that's when I went down the rabbit hole.. Hows the hologram on the front of the card? The only one I got from an ID has a bright (under UV light) hologram but this one and two my friend sent pictures of do not.
