Bezel replacement
I just did a partial trade for a really good price for a nice dual time white dial 25730ST. Watch keeps really really good time, but I want to replace a bezel which I think been badly polished. I know that AP will ask to service the movement along with replacing the bezel. I emailed them asking for the total cost. It’s been weeks and I still have not heard back from them. Has anyone done this before? How much do you think they will charge?

It is definitely possible when being done at the same time as servicing. I had the bezel replaced on my 15300ST last year when it was being serviced. The cost for the new bezel was $655 and movement service $980 (not sure if cost of either has changed since then). The big uncertainty lies in how much additional “mandatory work” needs to be performed that is not covered by the movement service which can easily add up to be over $1,000.

Bezel is surprisingly cheap. It’s the partial service or full service that drives the cost.
