What is mixed in with Rolex 18k yellow gold
So Rolex makes their yellow gold watches out of 18k which is 75 percent pure 24k. The rest is other metals to give it more strength. Anyone know the ratios of the last 25 percent of metals used in their 18k and the percentages of each metal? Anyone had their gold Rolex Xrayed?

I'm guessing 3N, 12.5% silver and 12.5% copper.

Someone must know a jeweler or metal place with one of these. Be pretty simple to figure out with the right tool.
