BLRO or BLNR Patina Photos Please.
1 week of owning BLRO, and damn it... even though I know it's a tool watch, the first scratches are always the deepest! If you guys can share your BLRO/BLNR patina photos, that will make me feel better!
PS: Not sure what caused the dot scratch on the side, but that what bothers me the most. I called the scuff scratch as a programmer's scratch |

The dial might fade over time, but the ceramic bezel will not patina.
See this thread for what the dial may look like: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=627558 |

I think the same guys that talk down on protective films think surface scratches are patina... I'll stick with my film over otherwise unavoidable scuffs and scrapes. Sent from my SM-G780G using Tapatalk |

I thought the sides of this watch were polushed surface, originally?
And it looks a bit like you still have stickers on the crown shoulders? Great watch by the way, congrats! |

Maybe just the photo but looks like you've still got some stickers on the side anyway…otherwise whats caused the brushed effect on the case side

The clasp will get annihilated over time, especially if you are actually wearing the watch daily instead of it being tucked in a box. So don't even remotely worry about that.
Admittedly The case scratch is unfortunate for such a new watch, how did it occur?

The sides of my BLRO's case are polished. What happened to yours?

I’ve been wearing mine daily 2.5 years, it’s nicely worn in.
Your Rolex is at its very best once it’s worn in and you can enjoy it without worrying about getting marks on it, it’s a part of me now. |

Wow, one week? Congrats! I'm so glad to see that it's being fully enjoyed!
These clasps with the polished centers are definitely scratch magnets. No way to avoid scratches there. I would just keep enjoying the watch, and keep adding those "memories" to it! |
