Does a vintage watch lose value if movement parts are replaced during service

Two small movement parts were due for replacement with their modern equivalents but these are replaced with genuine Rolex/Zenith parts.

Any thoughts if a vintage watch loses value if the above holds true?

In short, no it won't adversely affect the value (unless it was some ultra-ultra-rare, one-of-a-kind museum piece). And in fact a running watch is preferable to a paperweight, even in the vintage world.

It's all about the "investment", huh?

No. Original and authentic holds for the cosmetics and those things you can see and touch.

If your watch is broken because you don't replace broken or worn parts, it will be much less valuable than one working and maintained properly.
