Is it too early? What I would like to see introduced in 2023

For me, it’s simple.

White Gold GMT, Oyster Bracelet, either black and blue or all black ceramic bezel and red 24-hour hand.

Is that too much to ask?

Yes. It would be great to add a true Panda dial in SS model as an alternative. But then, the nickname folks would have to come up with a new not incorrect nickname for the current white ceramic watch.

Now that the Platinum Day-date has a fluted bezel, I wouldn't be surprised to see an Ice blue dialed platinum Sky-Dweller in the next few years.

That would a impressive looking watch....and heavy. Not sure how the Ice Blue dial would look with everything going on on that dial face? But the idea sounds wonderful....

Wondering whether the functional nature of the bezel prevents this, and if platinum-against-platinum rotation would somehow be difficult/problematic?

My dream would be a white gold, blue sunray dial, blue bezel Submariner. I'd trade my entire collection for one instantly.

Crazy they did not do this instead of what they released in the WG Sub.

Completely agree.

I'm going to buy a 116619LB cause this will never happen...but I REALLY want the new case. I just hate the black dial/blue bezel.

I think a steel, all black ceramic and red 24 hr would be be awesome.

I'd also like to see:

-mini-glide lock on the OF Daytonas
-ceramic bezels on all gold Daytonas
-jubilee option for CHNR

Black and red GMT, Coke. Daytona II in 42mm case. Those would work.

Stainless steel submariner with blue ceramic bezel insert from the WG “Cookie Monster” and sunburst blue dial with white text from the 126613lb bluesy. Basically a blue version of the Hulk. I would never want another watch.

EDIT: Just saw Russ already posted this. I second it, but in stainless steel so I can afford it!

Haha...yea....they'll never make it in steel. I'd be OK going back to being a one watch guy if it happens in WG. Not sure if I could talk myself into the full YG version that exists. Although I never thought I'd own the TT Blue either as I always hated TT until I tried it on. If I could try on the full YG version it may end up being a different story...

That would be a fantastic piece! The dial from a 116659 in a SS would be a great new release.

Glidelock throughout the catalog, and a 1-color bezel SS GMT...preferably black.

Not likely, but I'd really like to see a lighter color dial on the GMT. Rolex does a good job with limited, but attractive colors on the YM...it'd be nice to see some of those combos on a GMT.

Love my Rolex but the new releases are usually kind of a let down for me tbh. I generally know what I want to add and they are pretty staple references.

I get more excited about the Tudor releases... What I want to see this year -

BB58 case w/ Pepsi GMT bezel
Polar BB Pro

Both of those would be killer!

I would just be thrilled if Rolex would recognize there is a need to offer half links and/or mini-glide lock clasps on all steel models.

You can order a half-link from Rolex, I just did for my GMT. Attached picture is the part number. It’s around $50 bucks.

Oh, and I left out and COMPLETELY agree glidelock should be offered on all models.

I'd rather see them introduce a mini Glidelock clasp for the entire product line (that aren't divers) than introduce a single new model.

Would like to see the Milgauss done in a more retro/vintage style kinda like the 6541 with honeycomb dial. Doubt this will happen I expect a lazy refresh or outright discontinuation.
